  • IT Specialist;
  • Software Development Engineer;
  • Software Tester;
  • System Administration Specialist;
  • Database Administration Specialist;
  • IT Project Manager;
  • IT Product Development Lead;
  • and more

A detailed description of the program can be found in the attached file: Informatics and Engineering

The Bachelor鈥檚 Program is built based on the ECTS system. To obtain a qualification, a Bachelor student must accumulate 180 credits within the framework of the Bachelor鈥檚 educational program, which is the sum of the credits of the core and elective educational components, with content corresponding to the main field of study, and free components.

During the year, a student accumulates 60 credits, i.e. 30 credits per semester, although depending on the student's individual workload, the number of credits per year may be less or more than 60 credits, but no more than 75 credits.

The program provides for 15 free credits, which the student can accumulate within the framework of the credits intended for elective courses, both within the framework of this program and from another academic educational program of the same level at the School of Informatics and Engineering or the Georgian-American University; from an accredited academic educational program of the same level at another higher educational institution in Georgia; from an academic educational program of the same level at a foreign higher educational institution, if these credits are recognized in accordance with the legislation of Georgia.

Detailed description of the Bachelor's program academic plan can be found in attached file: Computer Science.

Receiving/accumulating credits in the relevant educational component by the student assumes active participation in the teaching process and is based on the principle of continuous evaluation of acquired knowledge. The level of achievement of learning outcomes is assessed in accordance with the assessment system approved by the Order No. 3 of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia of January 5, 2007, 鈥淎bout the Rules for Calculating Credits in Higher Education Programs.鈥

Assessment of the level of achievement of learning outcomes includes assessment forms - intermediate and final assessment, the sum of which represents the final assessment - 100 points.

Assessment forms include an assessment component/components that determine the way to assess the student's knowledge/awareness and/or ability and/or autonomy/responsibility (verbal/written exam, verbal/written quiz, practical/theoretical work, homework, etc.). Assessment components combine assessment methods (test, presentation, etc.). The assessment method is measured by assessment criteria.

Each form and component of the assessment has a specific share of the total assessment score (100), which is reflected in the specific syllabus.

Each assessment form has a minimum competence threshold - at least 25 points for the intermediate assessment, at least 16 points for the final assessment.

A minimum competency threshold may also be set for the assessment component(s), which will be detailed in the course syllabus.

Credit cannot be awarded using only one form of assessment. Credit is awarded to the student in case of a positive assessment.

Program鈥檚 educational components assessment system:

The system has 5 types of Positive Assessment:

  • Excellent 鈥 91-100 points
  • Very Good 鈥 81-90 points
  • Good 鈥 71-80 points
  • Satisfactory 鈥 61-70 points
  • Sufficient 鈥 51-60 points

 2 types of Negative Assessment:

  • (FX) Did not pass - 41-50 points, which means that the student needs more work in order to pass and, with independent work, is given the right to take the additional exam once
  • (F) Failed - 40 points and less, which means that the work done by the student is insufficient, and they have to retake the course/subject.

To determine a student's final ranking and to encourage them, a cumulative grade point average (GPA) is calculated at the end of the learning process.

The cumulative grade point average is calculated as follows: the quantitative indicator of the grade received by the student in each course of study is multiplied by the number of credits allocated for that course of study, and then the total sum of these numbers is divided by the number of credits accumulated by the student.

Tuition Fee for 2026-2027 Academic Year

An annual tuition fee of the 亚色影库 Computer Science Bachelor's Degree Program is 3,900* GEL. Payments are made twice a year, with equal parts, before the beginning of each semester.

See the link for the tuition fee of non-resident students.

Scholarships

1. TOP GRANT - Full Scholarship

Applicants who make it to the Top 1000 in the overall Bachelor's Exam Scores and choose 亚色影库 will have their bachelor's studies fully funded at 亚色影库 - 240 credits (in case of re-election and /or additional selection of any subject, the student will have to pay the respective credits cost).

2. Financial support based on Grade Point Average (GPA)
亚色影库 students once they have completed their first semester are eligible to receive a discount based on GPA calculated at the end of each semester. The discount applies to their next semester tuition fee.

3. Special financial support

If there are two family members studying at 亚色影库 at the same time, a discount of 20% is applied to each student.

* In non-standard cases, the following rules shall apply:

  • If a student is entitled to multiple discounts (excluding the ranking (GPA-based), only one discount applies鈥攖he discount with the highest monetary value.
  • If a student is entitled to multiple discounts, including a ranking (GPA-based) discount, the ranking discount is applied in addition to one other discount. (Example: if a student is entitled to a 50% ranking discount and a 20% family member discount, first the 50% ranking discount is deducted from the amount charged for core course credits, and then 20% is deducted from the remaining amount as the family member discount).
  • Percentage-based discounts apply only to amounts charged for core  course credits and do not apply to credits from additionally selected courses.
  • If one family member is charged for core course credits and another family member is charged only for additionally selected credits, the 20% family member discount applies only to the student charged for core course credits.
  • If one family member receives a discount exceeding 20%, the other family member is entitled to only a 20% family member discount.
  • If a student is entitled to multiple discounts, including a fixed-amount discount, the fixed-amount discount is applied first, followed by percentage-based discounts.
