A person holding a Bachelor鈥檚 degree or an equivalent qualification may be admitted to a Master鈥檚 program based on the results of the Unified Master鈥檚 Examinations, the internal university foreign language (English) test, and an interview in the relevant field of study.
Applicants to the Master鈥檚 Program in Business Administration must demonstrate English language proficiency at the B2 level. Those who hold a valid B2-level English language certificate or who have completed a first-cycle (Bachelor鈥檚) academic program in English are exempt from the internal English language test.

The maximum grade per academic course is 100 points.
Positive assessments:
(A) Excellent 鈥 91 points and up;
(B) Very good 鈥 81-90 points of the maximum assessment;
(C) Good 鈥 71-80 points of the maximum assessment;
(D) Satisfactory 鈥 61-70 points of the maximum assessment;
(E) Enough 鈥 51-60 points of the maximum.
Negative assessments:
(FX) Didn鈥檛 pass 鈥 41-50 points of the maximum assessments;
(F) Fail 鈥 40 points or less of the maximum assessment.
Students with grade FX have the right to retake the final exam;
Students with grade F must retake the course.
The student鈥檚 assessment takes place during the entire academic semester. Consequently, the student鈥檚 final assessment is the sum of interim assessments and final exam results.
Final examination maximum score is 40 of the total 100 points; the remaining 60 points are distributed according to interim assessments.
Only the students who have earned the minimal number of 25 points during the semester through interim assessments are allowed to take the final exam.
Students who do not have a compulsory minimum score (25) will not be admitted to the final examination. The minimum mandatory score for the final exam is 16.
The Master's thesis is assessed by the course evaluation system.
In order to determine the student's final rating and to encourage them to study well, the cumulative score, Grade Point Average* (GPA) is calculated at the end of the academic process (grade point average is also calculated at the end of each semester).聽

The study component is the compilation of study elements that are aimed at the field-specific professionalization of a student, and at his/her preparation for carrying out practical assignments.
A student must accumulate 90 credits in the study component of the program 鈥 wherein 60 credits are allotted to the mandatory major field-related courses, and 20 credits are allotted to the elective field-related courses. Free 10 credits can be accumulated from the educational program of the School of Business or any other electives offered by an academic program of the equal level at Georgian-American University; from the academic educational program of equivalent level at any other accredited higher educational institution of Georgia or from the academic educational program of equivalent level at a foreign higher educational institution, if these credits are approved by Georgian legislation.
A student must accumulate 10 credits in practical component:
A student must enroll in a practicum, if he/she is unemployed. He/she can accomplish a practical component of the study program at the institutions, organizations or companies with whom the University or the Business School have signed a memorandum/agreement of cooperation. If a student is employed in the field-related sphere, he/she must produce a certificate from a workplace giving a detailed description of the position held and duties performed. If a studentis exempt from practical work, he/she has to choose a course from the offered electives and accumulate 10 credits.
A student must accumulate 20 credits in the research component of the program:
A student may embark on a master鈥檚 thesis work, if he/she has completed all the mandatory study courses defined by the program and has accumulated 70 or more credits.
The research topic of Master鈥檚 thesis must involve the study of business problems existent in the firms and organizations of Georgia or other countries; it should consider the regulations of Georgian business, the adaptation of foreign regulations and other relevant issues. It must be based on authentic data analysis that will prepare a student for work in the business sphere.
