亚色影库 Business School offers 3-year undergraduate programs in English and Georgian languages.  Specifically:

These programs are unique in Georgia鈥檚 higher education landscape!

The programs combine Business Administration with Data Science, equipping students with the knowledge to effectively solve a wide range of practical tasks.

The programs are structured as follows:

The curriculum is divided into two parts: mandatory and elective courses. After completing the mandatory courses, students are free to choose elective subjects from various disciplines, such as:

  • Finance
  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Accounting and Auditing

Additionally, 亚色影库 Business School has been accredited by the world's most influential professional accounting association, ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), in the following four subjects:

Applicants interested in enrolling in the Business Administration Undergraduate Programs are advised to review the admission criteria, which vary depending on the program listed below:

In accordance with Georgian legislation, applicants may be admitted to the Bachelor鈥檚 Program in Business Administration based on the results of the Unified National Entry Examinations. Admission also requires the results of the English language examination taken within the Unified National Entry Examinations, with a minimum score of 40%.

Admission to the Bachelor鈥檚 Program in Business Administration without taking the Unified National Entry Examinations is permitted only in exceptional cases defined by Georgian legislation. Applicants seeking admission through this route must present a certificate confirming English language proficiency at the B1 level.

Applicants who have completed their secondary education in English are exempt from the requirement to submit an English language proficiency certificate.

In accordance with Georgian legislation, applicants may be admitted to the Bachelor鈥檚 Program in Business Administration based on the results of the Unified National Entry Examinations. Admission also requires the results of the English language examination taken within the Unified National Entry Examinations, with a minimum score of 40%.

Admission to the Bachelor鈥檚 Program in Business Administration without taking the Unified National Entry Examinations is permitted only in exceptional cases defined by Georgian legislation. Students can be enrolled in the 亚色影库 BBA Program through the mobility program twice a year, within the timeframe established by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, in compliance with mandatory procedures and fixed rules established by the University. See mobility terms and procedure.

Accredited foreign higher educational institution students can be enrolled in the 亚色影库 BBA Program on the basis of the order issued by the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia.

The students can earn/accumulate credits only in case of successful completion of the work described in the course syllabuses, after receiving a positive assessment.

The maximum grade per academic course is 100 points.

Positive assessments:
(A) Excellent 鈥 91 points and up;
(B) Very good 鈥 81-90 points of the maximum assessment;
(C) Good 鈥 71-80 points of the maximum assessment;
(D) Satisfactory 鈥 61-70 points of the maximum assessment;
(E) Enough 鈥 51-60 points of the maximum.

Negative assessments:
(FX) Didn鈥檛 pass 鈥 41-50 points of the maximum assessments;
(F) Fail 鈥 40 points or less of the maximum assessment.

Students with grade FX have the right to retake the final exam;
Students with grade F must retake the course.

The student鈥檚 assessment takes place during the entire academic semester. Consequently, the student鈥檚 final assessment is the sum of interim assessments and final exam results.

Final examination maximum score is 40 of the total 100 points; the remaining 60 points are distributed according to interim assessments.

Only the students who have earned the minimal number of 25 points during the semester through interim assessments are allowed to take the final exam.

Students who do not have a compulsory minimum score (25) will not be admitted to the final examination. The minimum mandatory score for the final exam is 16.

In order to determine the student's final rating and to encourage them to study well, the cumulative score, Grade Point Average* (GPA) is calculated at the end of the academic process (grade point average is also calculated at the end of each semester).聽

* Grade point average (GPA) is calculated as follows:聽
The points accumulated by the student in each course are multiplied by the number of credits for the specific course and then the total sum of these numbers is divided by the number of credits earned by the student.*

Bachelor鈥檚 Program of Business Administration is based on ECTS system. A student must accumulate 180 (ECTS) credits within the framework of the education program in order to be conferred the qualification of Bachelor in Business Administration.

Program consists of the mandatory courses (core components) relevant to the major study sphere and of the free components.

The duration of the study on the Bachelor鈥檚 Level of Business Administration is 3 years, 6 semesters. A student accumulates 60 credits during an academic year, i.e. 30 credits during a semester, although based on the individual workload of a student, the number of credits per annum can be more or less than 60, but no more than 75 (ECTS).

  • A student accumulates 120 credits from the core courses relevant to the major study sphere. 
  • A student accumulates 30 credits in the free components of the major study courses. 
  • A student accumulates 30 credits from the elective components relevant to the major study sphere. 
  • Practical component (elective) - 6 credits: Out of 36 credits from the elective components of the major study sphere, a student can use 6 credits for practical component.

A student will accomplish a practical component of the study program at the institutions, organizations or companies with whom the University or the Business School have signed a memorandum / agreement of cooperation.

  • Bachelor鈥檚 Thesis (elective) 鈥 12 credits: A student can accumulate 12 credits out of 36 credits of elective courses relevant to the major study sphere by writing a Bachelor鈥檚 thesis.
  • A student accumulates 12 credits through the elective courses of the free component (any course from another Bachelor鈥檚 program at the university, practical or research component).

Instead of electives of free components, a student can earn 12 free credits from any offered elective courses from the educational program of School of Business (major study sphere, free component) or from any other academic program of the equal level at Georgian-American University; from the academic educational program of equivalent level at any other accredited higher educational institution of Georgia or from the academic educational program of equivalent level at a foreign higher educational institution, if these credits are approved by Georgian legislation.

Study Plan of Business Administration Undergraduate Program (Georgian, 180 Credits)

Scholarships

1. TOP GRANT - Full Scholarship

Applicants who make it to the Top 1000 in the overall Bachelor's Exam Scores and choose 亚色影库 will have their bachelor's studies fully funded at 亚色影库 - 240 credits (in case of re-election and /or additional selection of any subject, the student will have to pay the respective credits Cost).

2. Financial support based on Grade Point Average (GPA):
亚色影库 students once they have completed their first semester are eligible to receive a discount based on GPA calculated at the end of each semester. The discount applies to their next semester tuition fee.

3. Special financial support:
If there are two family members studying at 亚色影库 at the same time, a discount of 20% is applied to each student.

* In case of certain overlaps or nonstandard situations, consider the following guidelines:
  • If the student qualifies for several discounts (except for a discount based on GPA), only one discount is applied (the highest);
  • If the student with state grant qualifies for several internal discounts (including discount based on GPA), two discounts are applied. For example, if the student qualifies for 50% discount based on GPA, and 20% family member discount, 50% rating discount is deducted from the total tuition fee and then is applied the remaining 20% discount - the discount for members of the same family.;
  • Percentage discounts are applied only to the principal annual tuition fee and not to the additionally selected subjects;
  • In case there are two family members qualifying for 亚色影库 family member discount, and one of them has to pay basic annual tuition fee, and the other student has to pay for an additionally selected subject, the 20% discount applies to the first student only;
  • In case one family member has a discount of more than 20%, the other student receives only the 20% family member discount;
  • If the student qualifies for several discounts, including fixed amount discounts, fixed amount discount is applied before the percentage discount.*
